Handbell Classes

Offered through Holy Family Conservatory of Music

    Conservatory Ringer Class 

(for advanced mixed age group of children and adults)

Now part of Holy Family Conservatory, The Conservatory Ringers have a long and successful history as a class/ensemble previously offered through Silver Lake College.  The advanced handbell class prepares students to present polished performances in the Endries Performance Hall of the Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance, as well as other venues throughout the area including Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay and St. Norbert’s College in DePere.

 

Strong music reading skills are necessary. Although previous handbell ringing and performance experience is desirable, it is not required for acceptance into the class.  Requirements include attendance at classes on Thursday evenings from 5:00-6:30 PM and concert dates that are provided at the beginning of the ten-week cycle. 

 

         Lakeshore Ringer Class for Beginners               (mixed age group of children and adults)

The Lakeshore Ringers is a handbell classes for new and/or developing musicians of who are 12 years old and beyond.  Handbell classes are Thursday afternoons from 4:00-4:45 PM.  No previous handbell experience is required.  Concerts are scheduled at the completion of the seven- week sessions of classes.
